Demand analysis

To promote development, improve the power supply and management capability of the state grid, Jibei Electric Power Co., Ltd hoped to establish a standard, open, reliable, safe and high-adaptability application platform to directly responsible for real-time monitoring and warning (new EMS), operation plan system (OPS), SCS and operation management system (OMS), meanwhile, build a stable, safe and unified managed physical equipments framework on the basis of the original infrastructure.

Solution

Based on the user’s requirements, Sugon designed a set of complete infrastructure solution, i.e. Sugon high-performance blade server cluster system. The high-performance computer system adopted in this solution is based on the common X86 cluster framework. Based on the application properties, Sugon selected its independently developed blade server product TC3600. This product had surpassed the traditional rack-mounted servers from may aspects, this is a new generation of server product with high stability, high availability, high scalability, high density and high performance.

To meet the user’s requirements for performance and convenience in aspects of super high computing density, super large storage space, super low energy consumption, excellent management system, etc.
